DIRECTIONS & ADDRESSES TO UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA FIELDS

University of North Carolina Fields:

Navy Field (Turf), Henry Stadium (Astroturf), Fetzer Field (Grass), Hooker Fields (Turf), Eddie Smith Field House (Indoor Turf)

All fields are within walking distance of parking options below. Please reference the map at the bottom of the page.

  • Hooker Fields: 203 South Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
  • Finley Fields: 147 Old Mason Farm Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
  • Karen Shelton Turf Field: 327 Ridge Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
  • OPF Koman Practice Complex: 242 Ridge Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
  • Eddie Smith Field House: 100 Ridge Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
     

PARKING OPTIONS

Access to Navy/Henry and Dorms: Parking is available in Rams Head Deck (off Ridge Road) at $1.50/hr. Follow past Henry/Navy Stadium and parking deck is on the right. You can walk to the dorms from there. (Subway on right and Starbucks located up steps in the plaza area.)

Access to Hooker Fields: Parking is available on the meters on South Road or in the Raleigh Road Visitor Lot on Hwy. 54 or the School of Government Lot next to Hooker Fields.

Access to Fetzer/Eddie Smith Field House: Parking is available in the S-3 lot on right before Henry Stadium off of Ridge Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. The entrance to Eddie Smith is located behind Henry Stadium/Navy Field.

 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Virginia and Points North:

Take I-85 South to Durham, N.C. Exit left at US-15/501 in Durham and follow 15/501 approx. 9 miles to Chapel Hill. Once in Chapel Hill, maintain 15/501 Bypass (Fordham Blvd.). Turn right onto Manning Drive.Turn right onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/2 mile; Navy Field/Henry Stadium on left across from Boshamer Baseball stadium.

From Points West:
Take I-85 North toward Durham, N.C. Exit just past Burlington onto NC-54 East (exit #148, Chapel Hill). Follow NC-54 approx. 20 miles to Carrboro. Go through two stoplights and stay on NC-54 until the next stoplight. Turn left onto Manning Drive. Turn right onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/2 mile; Navy Field/Henry Stadium on left across from Boshamer Baseball stadium.

From Points East:
Take I-40 West to Chapel Hill. Exit at NC-54 West (exit #273 A) and follow approx. 4 miles. Continue straight on NC-54 and make left onto Country Club Road. Make immediate right onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/2 mile; Navy Field/Henry Stadium on right across from Boshamer Baseball stadium.

From Points South:
Take US-15/50 North to Chapel Hill. Exit right onto 15/501 Bypass in Chapel Hill. Turn left onto Manning Drive. Turn right onto Ridge Road. Continue on Ridge Road approximately 1/2 mile; Navy Field/Henry Stadium on left across from Boshamer Baseball stadium.
